CEO threatens to fire employees if Obama wins the election

10/9/2012

David Siegel, the staunchly conservative CEO of Westgate Resorts, is warning his employees that if President Obama is re-elected, it might cost them their jobs. Siegel repurposed a widely circulated form letter that surfaced in 2008. In the last election, some bosses used the letter as a basis for explaining why then-candidate Obama would negatively impact the bottom line of the nation's businesses. Siegel said he tweaked the letter to suit his own situation, but still warned workers that if his company has to pay new taxes under another Obama administration, he "will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company." And they don't want that, because, as he says, it'll force him to retire to a nice Caribbean beach with no employees at all. Poor guy. [Source
