Slain principal's heartbreaking letter to her daughter goes viral

A letter that slain Sandy Hook principal Dawn Hochsprung wrote to her daughter prior to Friday's massacre is going viral today. Hochsprung's daughter Erica Lafferty, age 27, said she discovered the note while searching through old photographs. It was among several "just because" letters her mom used to write, particularly the first year Erica moved out, when she was having a hard time. It reads: "Today I stopped and thought what a wonderful daughter I have. And I thought I'd tell you… you are and forever will be my sweet baby girl. You possess a piece of my heart and soul and I will never be complete without you. Remember this in your darkest times. You are never alone." [Source]
