Sandy Hook principal reportedly died confronting gunman

It's being reported by witnesses that Dawn Hochsprung, the slain principal of Sandy Hook, died confronting the gunman on Friday. Newtown's Board of Education chairwoman explained that administrators were leaving a meeting when the gunman forced himself into the school and ran toward them, at which point it's reported that the principal lunged at the gunman, trying to overtake him. Hochsprung had been with the school for two years and was clearly committed to her students' well-being. It's no recompense for their loss, but at least her two daughters and three stepdaughters will know their mother died a hero. [Source]
