Heartbroken owner remortgages home to get stolen dog back
1/31/2013Dawn Maw has put her life on hold since her pup, Angel, was dognapped Dec. 6. Maw has stopped going to work and remortgaged her home to put up a $16,000 reward. The 42-year-old even canceled Christmas because a "member of the family was missing." The champion show dog was stolen right before her eyes in a South Yorkshire, England, parking lot as she was loading her other three dogs into her car. A van pulled up, and the driver snagged the 4-year-old German shorthaired pointer and zoomed off. Maw set up a Facebook page, produced this YouTube video and even hired a pet detective. "I feel my life has ended," says Maw. "I am simply determined to find her." [Source]
