Dedicated zookeepers don panda costumes to blend in

There are innumerable steps involved in introducing a panda, born in captivity, to the wild, but surely the most adorable is the one for which human zoo workers are dressed like pandas. A mother named Cao Cao and her son Tao Tao were transported in crates from a zoo to their new home at the Wolong National Nature Reserve. Much care is taken to ensure that the pandas interact with humans as little as possible, which is why the workers are going incognito. That's not the only bit of play-acting: Pandas are natural enemies of snow leopards, so animal workers also show the pandas models of leopards to teach them to regard the big cats warily.
