Obama tweeter learns using the N-word makes you 'sound racist'

Denise Helms, the 22-year-old who got fired last week after calling Obama the N-word, isn't really a racist. Sure, she tweeted the Klu Klux Klan's favorite racial slur and alluded to the president's assassination, but does that reeeally make her a "racist"? Huffington Post reported today that the California woman now wishes she could retract her comment, which was apparently misunderstood. "It does [sound like I'm a racist]," Helms said. "But I am not. That’s what everyone's been telling me, 'You know, what you said sounded so racist.' And it does, and you know, I take it back. If I could erase what I said, I would." So would we, Denise. [Source]
