Find 'Mystic River' author's lost dog and appear in his next book

Dennis Lehane, author of "Mystic River," "Gone Baby Gone" and "Shutter Island," is desperately seeking his lost dog and has offered an unusual reward for her safe return. If you can find Tessa, his beloved beagle, he'll name a character in his next book after you (which might also result in a movie character moniker, based on his past record). Lehane offered the reward in a post on his Facebook page after Tessa disappeared from his home in Brookline, Mass. and described his missing pet: "Tessa, black-and-tan Beagle, 24 hours on the lam, sweet as all hell."
