Sorry, truckers, you can't smoke dope even in states where it's legal

We hate to disappoint all you weed-loving truckers out there, but the federal Department of Transportation has announced the new marijuana laws won't affect its drug testing policy. That means even if your state just legalized pot, you cannot use it recreationally (or medicinally, for that matter) if your job requires a federally mandated drug test. This goes for truckers, as well as all other employees classified as "safety sensitive," which includes pilots, school bus drivers and train engineers, among others.
