Alleged armed robber scared off by senior women chanting 'JESUS!'
1/29/2013In what sounds like a twisted version of "Rock, Paper, Scissors," Jesus apparently beats a handgun. Jacquie Hagler was hosting a jewelry party in her Florida home when she says gun-wielding robber Derick Lee burst into the room and demanded that her guests hand over their money and their phones. The 60-something women thought he was kidding — one even told him to "get that water pistol out of my face." Lee insisted he was for real, but Hagler simply stood up and shouted, "Get out of my house in the name of Jesus!" The other 14 women joined in, chanting "JESUS! JESUS! JESUS!" until Lee turned and ran. He was later arrested at his father's house. [Source]
