Instead of lying low, man accused of murder tweeted about drugs
2/28/2013If nothing else, Canadian murder suspect Devin Kingsley Hall has chutzpah. On Sept. 27, he allegedly shot two men outside a Winnipeg, Manitoba, restaurant. One died. Between that time and his arrest last week, Hall carried on a tweeting juggernaut, posting photos of apparent drug paraphernalia, railing against the justice system and providing updates on his marijuana use. But, now that he’s been charged with first degree murder, attempted murder and numerous firearms offenses, can the tweets be used in court as evidence? According to lawyer Brian Bowman, they'll need to pass admissibility tests. At least Hall's social networking has stopped. His Twitter account seems to have been deleted. [Source]
