Overachieving thieves make off with $50M in diamonds in 5-minute heist

In a perfectly choreographed heist, eight armed robbers snatched $50 million in diamonds at the airport in Brussels Monday. The masked gang smashed through an airport security fence in a Mercedes van, then held up a Brink's truck that was loading the gems onto a Helvetic Airways aircraft. They rifled through the cargo hold and took off in an Audi decked out in blue flashing lights that made it look like a police car. The entire operation lasted just minutes, and no shots were fired.
