Dimwit calls 911 to gripe about his deli sandwich order
6/15/2012Rother McLennon is fussy about how his sandwiches are made, so naturally the Connecticut man called 911 to complain about an order gone awry. "I specifically asked for little turkey, and little ham, a lot of cheese and a lot of mayonnaise and they are giving me a hard time," McLennon tells the dispatcher on the call, who in turn asks incredulously, "You're calling 911 because you don't like way that they're making your sandwich?!" "Exactly," replied McLennon, who made the call from the Greatful Deli in East Hartford, where he's an ungrateful regular. "So then, don't buy it," the dispatcher advised. McLennon called the deli back later to apologize.
Had you been the 911 dispatcher, what would you have told this guy?
