A dingo ate my bracelet! Four-legged thief runs off with purse, jewels
12/17/2012A British tourist is missing some jewelry and several thousand dollars after a dingo snatched her purse from an Australian beach. Several people tried to warn the woman about the four-legged thief, but she apparently thought the critter would be too busy scanning the sand for tasty, unattended newborns to worry about stealing her stuff. Wrong. Although her purse was never found, the dingo — which had a reputation for harassing tourists — was killed. "This animal had been the subject of numerous complaints," a park ranger said. "[From] jumping onto barbeques and approaching and stealing things from people." [Source]
