Disney-bound toddler in wheelchair gets TSA patdown
3/19/2012You're 3 years old, in a wheelchair and just got swabbed for explosives by TSA officials. What are you going to do next? Go to Disney World! This youngster, in a body cast for a broken leg, experienced just that at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport after being singled out by security. One agent asks if he can lift the boy's shirt (he did offer a private screening room), while the dad focuses his efforts on keeping the nervous preschooler/potential terrorist calm. Although we're not sure we'd categorize the boy as traumatized (he remains relatively subdued), adding three-plus minutes to any family's travels with a young child does prove one thing: Those TSA agents probably don't have young children.
