Tied Dixville Notch voters refuse to predict who'll win the election

11/6/2012

Poll results from Dixville Notch, N.H., have declared that the winner of this year's presidential election is ... indecisiveness. The town's residents traditionally vote at midnight, casting some of the first ballots in a presidential election, and they almost always favor the winning candidate. But anyone looking to Dixville Notch for a prediction of this year's victor will be disappointed: The town's 10 registered voters split their votes evenly between President Obama and Mitt Romney, awarding them five apiece. Things went differently in another New Hampshire village, Hart's Location, where Obama soundly defeated Romney 23 to 9, with one vote cast for Libertarian Gary Johnson. There you have it ... 43 votes counted, 125 million to go. [Source]
