One designer used 3,000 cow nipples — waste from a tannery making leather products — to create an evening dress, while Hissa Igarashi and Sayuri Marakumi crafted a gown from 50,000 gummi bears. Most shocking, though, has to be the dress worn recently by a Chinese 21-year-old to her own birthday party. It was reportedly made of yuan worth $32,000.
