Farming website kind of did that Dodge 'God Made a Farmer' ad already
2/4/2013One of the most talked-about commercials from Sunday's Super Bowl was the Dodge-produced "God Made a Farmer" spot. Although the ad that aired during the game was new, the idea itself is two years old. Farms.com, a website for the agriculture industry, made a YouTube version in June 2011, using the same narration from radio broadcaster Paul Harvey (which was from a 1978 speech he gave at a convention for the National FFA Organization, formerly known as the Future Farmers of America). Dodge has a long-standing relationship with the farming organization: If you watch the new ad after clicking on one of the Dodge banners, the company will make a donation to the FFA. [Source]
