Council seeks this dog after its dramatic recovery from a flood

3/12/2013

The call is out to ID a Staffordshire bull terrier cross who made a dramatic recovery following the massive Queensland, Australia, floods in 2011. This series of images tell a remarkable tale of resilience, as the dog initially appears muddy, bloated, stiff and, let's face it, dead. But after a quick hose-down, the pooch miraculously perks up and is soon smiling and sticking out its tongue at the camera. The Somerset Regional Council is hoping to include the inspirational photos in a book about the floods, but needs to track down the dog and the person in the photos. If you know this happy hound or know someone who might, let the council know, and give that plucky pup a hug. [Source]
