11 miles stuck in a car grille was no joyride for this cute survivor

But instead of getting crushed, she ended up wedged into the car’s grille — surviving an 11-mile journey into Rhode Island, while the oblivious driver, who thought the dog had run off, motored on. Finally, another driver pointed out the poor animal and the frazzled motorist raced to the police station where officers extracted her from the air intake vent.
