'Stoner dogs' are now a problem in Colorado, dude10/3/2012
People aren't the only beings getting a Rocky Mountain High in Colorado. Medical marijuana is legal there, and many medical marijuana users have taken the attitude that what’s good for them is good for their dogs. Vets in Colorado are reporting increasing numbers of "stoner dogs," pooches whose owners are giving them pot. The problem is, weed is potentially toxic for dogs and can make them ill. "They basically have lost a lot of their fine motor control, they have a wide-based stance and they are not sure on their feet," said one vet, who could have been describing the dogs' owners as well.
