Dogs patiently partner with owners for strange yoga class
4/22/2012Jingle a leash anywhere near a dog in its prime and they will react with the kind of ecstatic joy humans only muster for winning the lottery. It's hard to match your pet's level of energy when it comes to jogging, playing fetch or hunting down a brace of partridge; in fact, maybe you both need to chill out and do some dog-owner partner yoga, aka doga. "We do a lot of massage...this is an activity of really connecting with your dog." says Donna Bainter, a Florida doga enthusiast. Participants also claim "doga" helps them bond more with their pets, and makes their dogs a lot calmer -- so calm they often snore in class.
Would you do yoga with your dog?
