Most dog owners have a hard drive full of treasured photos like those above — and they become all the more touching when seen side-by-side with images of the same pets (and their owners) many years later. These snapshots prove the basic tenet of dog-owning: how our love for our pets only increases, even as they (and we) get a little scruffier with time. We hope the dogs shown, along with their owners, get many more years of photo-taking together.
