Powerball winners offer $3M for school stadium — so long as it's pink

12/19/2012

After winning $202 million in Powerball in September, Brian and Mary Lohse, of Des Moines, Iowa, offered $3 million for Bondurant-Farrar High School to build a new football stadium. And all that they asked in return is that the facility be completed before their kid graduates and that the locker room for visiting teams be painted pink to emasculate players before the game. "I was sort of half joking and half not, I suppose, but they said they'd do it," said Mary. First you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the pink locker room. [Source]
