$19 million settlement will buy Don Johnson a lifetime of linen suits
2/12/2013Don Johnson has won his day in court. In 2010, Johnson filed against the co-producers of the mystifyingly popular "Nash Bridges," alleging Rysher Productions had diddled him out of his fair share of the profits. He was entitled to half if it ran for more than 66 episodes — there were 122. He had been awarded $50 million, but after the usual legal back and forth, the final figure was $19 million. The star has now signed an "acknowledgement of satisfaction" with the result, and who wouldn't be? With that kind of money, you can get at least two of those pimpin' pastel jackets. And a speed boat for Tubbs. [Source]
