Make envelopes look bigger on the inside with these Dr. Who stamps

12/27/2012

We're paraphrasing the Tenth Doctor when we say "Allons-y to the post office!" Royal Mail, the United Kingdom's postal service, has announced that it is releasing a set of 11 stamps in honor of the 11 actors who have played Dr. Who, from William Hartnell in 1963 through current Doctor Matt Smith, who (no pun intended) will guide the TARDIS toward the show's fiftieth anniversary nextyear. "[The stamps] pay tribute to the brilliant actors that have played the Doctor over the years," the Royal Mail's Andrew Hammond said. If asked how the Royal Mail service worked, we like to think that the Tenth Doctor would've described it as "Wibbly-wobbly, stampy-wampy…stuff."
