Euroleague basketball player gives the flop of a lifetime
12/2/2012The NBA may have tried to outlaw flopping, but the practice seems to be alive and well across the Atlantic. In this clip from a Euroleague game, Drew Gordon takes a tiny bump from the opposition and uses his Tommy Wiseau-esque acting skills to create a sprawling, staggering flop almost a quarter of the way across the court. Even though Gordon really puts his heart into the performance and face-plants into the free-throw line, the refs are unimpressed and refuse to call the fake foul. I guess all those years of soccer experience have really given European refs some practice in determining when someone is just faking it.
