New study says the couple that drinks together, stays together
2/7/2013When it comes to drinking and marriage, it's best for marital bliss if you and your sweetie can go shot for shot, round for round. Researchers in Norway have found that spouses who drank the same amounts of alcohol were less likely to divorce than couples in which one partner gets hammered on the regular and the other drinks rarely. The research discovered that divorce was more common among couples in which both partners drank heavily, but that the highest rates of divorce were found in couples where the woman was the heavy drinker.
