Driver uses in-car camera to foil alleged freeway rip-off

Here's a clip that will make you wonder why every car isn't equipped with a dashboard camera. We see the videographer's car come to a full stop before the vehicle ahead in busy freeway traffic rolls backwards, striking the camera-equipped car. The person who posted the video claims the other driver tried to demand $500 for "repairs" in exchange for not calling the cops, which can be difficult to refute because insurance companies assume the trailing car is at fault in rear-end collisions. However, a quick point to the camera appears to squash any alleged shakedown.​
