If you picked Boston, you're correct, according to numbers produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and crunched by the Daily Beast. Beantown's boozers threw back more hooch than any other location except Washington, D.C. (residents of both places quaffed an average of 15.6 alcoholic beverages a month). Only Cleveland has more "binge" drinkers than Boston (20.4 percent of residents versus Boston's 20.1 percent), and only Charleston and Buffalo could edge out blotto Bostonians for their number of "heavy" drinkers.
