Easter egg hunt canceled thanks to 'aggressive' parents
3/26/2012Who knew that a handful of jelly beans and a few plastic eggs would be enough to make a group of Colorado Springs parents lose their damn minds. During last year's annual Easter egg hunt, the parents of would-be egg finders jumped into the action and, according to the organizers, got so "aggressive" that they've canceled this year's event. "It sort of got out of hand," Dave Van Ness told Fox 21. "There were disgruntled people because there either weren't enough eggs or some kids didn't get one." One model parent told the AP, "You better believe I'm going to help my kid get one of those eggs." See, Colorado Springs? THIS IS WHY YOU CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.
Would you have jumped into the hunt?
