Eddie Murphy 'dies' in snowboarding accident (again)

Poor Eddie Murphy. As if it's not enough that his career is in a post-mortem state, the Internet keeps lighting up with rumors he himself has suffered an equally hideous premature demise. On Wednesday, reports of the comic star's death did the rounds once again. And, once again, the supposed cause of death was a snowboarding accident in Zermatt, Switzerland. When rumors of Eddie Murphy's death circulated the first time back in December 2010, his rep told the press: "The last place Eddie would be is snowboarding in Switzerland." The same hoax was also spread in May last year. We condemn Global Associated News, the frequent death hoaxers who reportedly started the rumor. Apart from the hoax causing pain to Eddie and his family, if Eddie actually does die in a snowboarding accident in Switzerland, who will believe it now?
