Woman marries twin sister's convicted killer — on Valentine's Day

2/16/2013

A 22-year-old Argentine woman was pelted with eggs and stones after marrying the convicted killer of her twin sister — on Valentine’s Day. Edith Casas wed Victor Cingolani — currently serving 13 years for killing Casas’ twin sis, Johana — in the same Argentine city where Johana was shot twice in the head in July 2010. Cingolani was an ex-boyfriend of Johana's, and is appealing his conviction; another man, who was living with Johana when she died, will also be tried in May. For her part, Edith says her new hubby is "not a violent person." The creepy couple planned to marry last December, but the wedding was postponed by a judge who ordered Edith to undergo psychological testing beforehand. Edith’s family is understandably horrified — they disowned her, skipped the wedding and her dad told a newspaper that "Johana is with God and Edith is with the Devil." [Source]
