There's an RGIII namesake on the way, because Dad won bet with Mom
2/23/2013No book of baby names was needed when Emanuel Vega and Marissa Pena wrangled over what to call their first born. They simply consulted the rosters of their favorite NFL teams and then settled it with a wager. So it's only because Dad's Redskins held on to beat Mom's Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day that Robert Griffin Vega — RGV instead of RGIII — will join the human lineup in April, named for the Skins quarterback. Not only was Vega sweating out the possibility that his son would be named Austin Miles (after Cowboys receiver Miles Austin), but that he'd grow up a Dallas fan as a result. "I might have to disown him," Vega said. [Source]
