Supermom pedals six kids every day in this multiseat superbike

This lady has given new meaning to the phrase "one tough mama." Although Emily Finch had hardly ever bicycled, the Portland, Ore. resident traded in her SUV few years ago for this multiperson contraption, called a bakfiets, which she now uses to haul her six children everywhere they go. She estimates the bike weighs about 550 pounds when it’s loaded up with kids, groceries and gear, but the 34-year-old pedals it rain or shine, through smiles and (very public) tantrums, and up and down hills, with her yelling things like, "Pump Mary, pump!" to tell her daughter in the back to pedal.
