12/29/2012Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield seem so unbelievably charming as individuals and so completely lovely as a couple we sometimes worry it’s all too good to be true. Maybe they’re hateful Hollywood types who sneer at normal folk and regularly shove their assistants into a koi pond or something. Well, today we heard news that makes us think maybe they’re just actually wonderful: The couple adopted a 2-year old golden retriever named Ren from a shelter. No pricey breeder puppies for Stone and Garfield. Instead they saved the grown dog from a "high-kill" facility in Downey, Calif. That pooch is now going to live a life of luxury with two of the coolest people on the planet. [Source]
