7/30/2012If you've tuned into the London Olympics — assuming you can tolerate NBC's crappy coverage of the Games — you might have noticed stadiums full of empty seats. You're not alone: The number of butt-free chairs sparked outrage on Twitter from Londoners who weren't able to score tickets for supposedly "sold out" events. The hashtag "#emptyseats" blazed with complaints over the weekend, and it wasn't long before someone started @OlympicSeat, a Twitter account for a chair that feels "nothing but emptiness." There's an investigation underway to fix the problem, which is mostly blamed on no-show corporate sponsors, Olympic officials and members of the media. [Source]
