Entire flight crew drug tested after passenger's dumb joke

One more time, travelers: the airport is NOT the place to test out your stand-up material, even if you think it's hilaaaarious to ask if your flight was delayed because the crew "had partied too much the night before." An already-late Des Moines-to-Charlotte plane was grounded an extra four hours after a would-be Schecky made that stupid joke, which forced US Airways to order mandatory drug tests for the entire crew. "It's one of these things where if someone makes a comment, makes an accusation..." the pilot told one passenger. "God forbid something happened." When the flight finally departed -- six hours late -- Mister Funnypants was not allowed on board. Now THAT makes us laugh.
