Principal suspended for starring in 'Terminator' spoof video
1/16/2013The new principal of a Massachusetts high school was suspended for two days after appearing in a spoof of "The Terminator." Some felt the video was inappropriate and overly violent in light of the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary last month. Principal Erik Naumann is seen in the video dressed similarly to Arnold Schwarzenegger's character from the film, roaming the halls of Everett High School telling an onlooker that everyone at the school has been "naumannated." The video was meant as a way for Naumann to introduce himself to students as their new principal. The teacher who filmed the video was also suspended. Naumann could have been fired for the video, but after a meeting with school officials said he hoped "we can move forward from this." [Source]
