ESPN analyst coldly rips fibbing co-host on-air
4/11/2012ESPN's Skip Bayless has been busted for a big, fat Twitter fib. Bayless tweeted last week that he "shot too much" while on a high school state finalist basketball team, and bragged that he was an MVP at an elite basketball camp. But an intrepid blogger from The Lost Ogle found that the Bayless averaged a whopping 1.4 points per game as a senior and still played JV as a junior. Former NBA star Jalen Rose confronted Bayless about the lie on "First Take" today, forcing Skip to admit he was not a scorer. Bayless had tweeted that he fancied himself as a "Pistol Pete" Maravich, which prompted Rose called him "Water Pistol Pete, Jr." Skip, who rips college and pro athletes without remorse, was atypically silent when needled by Rose.
