Even Twitter co-founder thinks tweeps need to get a life
2/24/2012An unlikely voice has emerged in the discussion surrounding Internet addiction in general and Twitter co-dependence in particular: Biz Stone, the social network's co-founder, said at a conference in Montreal on Thursday that 12-hour Twitter sessions were unhealthy, according to the Daily Mail. "I like the kind of engagement where you go to the website and you leave because you've found what you are looking for," he said. "Obviously, we want you to come frequently." Even if he's ruffled some feathers, Stone's candid comments probably won't put his position in peril; he's been with Twitter since its founding, and he's now the firm's creative director.
