Most of us have taken a Facebook break — then been sucked back in
2/6/2013In many ways, your Facebook account is like a real-life friend: You tell it about your day, you share photos with it, and sometimes you just need to spend time apart from it for the sake of your sanity. A new survey conducted by the Pew Research Center found that 61 percent of Facebook-using Americans said that at some point they've voluntarily avoided using Facebook for several weeks. The main reason for this was being too busy, but respondents also took a break because they weren't interested, or because it felt like a "waste of time."
