Facebook to become organ for organ donation

Team Zuckerberg has just added a new feature that even Facebook haters will struggle to snark on. Starting today, users on the social network can add an organ donation status to their Timelines or connect with a donor registry to become a donor. Zuckerberg told ABC that he decided to add the feature after seeing his girlfriend's face light up (she's studying to be a pediatrician) when a child was saved by an organ donation. "I hope that this can make a real impact," he says. Given Facebook's unbelievably enormous reach, this new feature could have a huge impact. Kudos to Zuck for having a heart -- and helping others get one, too.
