Facebook's oldest user has waaaay more friends than you
2/8/2013Not only is 105-year-old Edythe Kirchmaier California's oldest licensed driver and the University of Chicago's oldest living alumnus, this wonderful woman is also Facebook's oldest registered user. Kirchmaier joined Facebook last month when Direct Relief, the medical aid charity where she's volunteered for 40 years, set up her account to celebrate her 105th birthday. She now has more than 20,000 Facebook friends and says she enjoys receiving "nice messages and pictures from people all over the world," as well as checking in daily with friends and family.
