Adorably mature little girl starts lemonade stand for global charity8/15/2012
It only takes sugar, lemons and water to make a difference. Remember the 6-year-old boy who used a lemonade stand to raise money for his dad's cancer treatment? Now, an 8-year-old girl is using the same thirst-quenching method to raise money for the fight against human trafficking. Vivienne Harr, of Fairfax, Calif., has has started a campaign called Make a Stand, which funnels all its profits to a group that combats international human slavery. Harr is quite an ambitious 8-year-old, saying she wants to raise $150,000, and, though she's so far only at $1,000, the mini do-gooder has 19 days left to reach her goal, and plans to work every day until then.
