Famous Batmobiles compete in bat-ass drag race
3/22/2012That sound you just heard? A collective worldwide nerdgasm thanks to this video of two iconic Batmobiles racing side-by-side on a makeshift dragstrip. Super Power Beat Down host Marisha Ray pits the 1966 Batmobile from the Adam West TV series against the Michael Keaton version from the 1989 movie. And while the latter looks more menacing, the '66 actually has it beat in terms of horsepower and quarter-mile time -- it's built on a C4 Corvette platform complete with a small block Chevy V8 engine.
