Fan falls 40 feet during ACC Championship Game

A 22-year-old fan is in critical condition after falling 40 feet from a stadium ramp during Saturday night’s ACC Championship game between Florida State and Georgia Tech. The incident took place at Charlotte, N.C.’s Bank of America Stadium, home of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. A local EMS source said the man fell from the fourth level of the stadium shortly after the 8 p.m. kickoff, and was rushed to the trauma center at Carolinas Medical Center with "life-threatening injuries." Police have identified the fan as Sean Michael Powers, a resident of New Port Richey, Fla.  [Source]
