Fan makes (NSFW) live action short film of 'Grand Theft Auto'
11/19/2012Check out this loving (and insanely expensive) fan tribute to the "Grand Theft Auto" videogame franchise. Grand Theft Auto: RISE is a live action short film based on 2008’s GTA IV, starring amoral tough guy Niko Bellic. The film follows a Niko-esque gangster through a series of NSFW encounters, including a vicious nightclub brawl and a bullet-strewn car chase. Director Gevorg Karensky has made high-concept commercials for Audi, BMW and Adidas, and this short film appears to be a pure gesture of nerd-love to the 4-year-old game, perhaps made in anticipation of the upcoming GTA V. Sir, we salute you.
