Faster 3D technology leaves whiny 'Hobbit' fans feeling dizzy

Excited "Hobbit" fans who've attended early screenings of Peter Jackson's eagerly-awaited "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" have reported feeling sick and not just from excitement. Jackson shot "The Hobbit" with 3D cameras that captured twice the normal number of frames per second – 48 – and the resulting incredible clarity left some attendees at the premiere apparently dizzy and one even suffering "a migraine" afterwards. However, most cinemas won't be showing the film at the higher frame rate because they lack the technology to do so, so it'll just be up to Gollum and other sinister denizens of Middle Earth to put us off our popcorn.
