Faster 3D technology leaves whiny 'Hobbit' fans feeling dizzy

12/3/2012

Excited "Hobbit" fans who've attended early screenings of Peter Jackson's eagerly-awaited "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" have reported feeling sick and not just from excitement. Jackson shot "The Hobbit" with 3D cameras that captured twice the normal number of frames per second – 48 – and the resulting incredible clarity left some attendees at the premiere apparently dizzy and one even suffering "a migraine" afterwards.
