Fat mom wants taxpayers to fund weight loss surgery
3/27/2012Most people are hoping to lose weight to look good in their bikinis, but a mother of six from the U.K. has a more pressing concern. Sara Agintas, 43, wants taxpayers to fund a $22,000 weight loss operation as she "can't work because I'm too fat to fit in an office chair and can only stand for two minutes at a time." 462-pound Agintas also says she wants to go on holiday but needs two airplane seats to accommodate her size. She gained weight after her pregnancies because dieting was "too hard" and exercise "hurt," although we suspect her admission of spending more than $300 a week on take-out meals for her family didn't help either.
Do you think taxpayers should fund the op?
