Another bullied teen girl kills herself

Despite the recent public outcry against the suicide of Amanda Michelle Todd, 15, and promises to end bullying, the nation lost another young woman in very similar circumstances to suicide yesterday, when a 15-year-old identified as Felicia Garcia threw herself in front of a subway car in New York City after reportedly being mercilessly taunted and slut-shamed by her school’s football team. Having tweeted “I can’t, I’m done, I give up” in her last tweet, the girl threw herself backward into the path of the Huguenot Staten Island Railway station train. Sources also say the girl was a foster child who had lost both of her parents.
